1.0 Order Tracking
1.1We know you're eager to find out when your bike(s) will arrive. After your order is picked up by the carrier from our warehouse you'll receive an email from us including a tracking number. To track your shipment visit www.FedEx.com and enter the tracking number. It's a long number so cutting and pasting into the FedEx site works best to avoid typos.
1.2 The Tracking Alert System at FedEx allows the recipient to check the departure date of the package, check current location status, and see the estimated delivery date so you can plan your day/week accordingly if you like.
2.0 Order Processing and Shipping
2.1Please allow from 6-12 business days (depending on where you live) from date of purchase for your bike to arrive. Shipments are delivered by FedEx Ground and UPS Ground service.
3.0 ShippingFree Shipping is available from our warehouses to your destination for your purchase and includes shipping to valid shipping addresses in the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military and air force bases, islands, remote addresses outside normal shipping rates, and PO boxes. Some addresses will allow you to check out in our shopping cart, but in fact have an extra shipping fee that needs to be quoted due to the unusual nature of your address. We cannot foresee all possible shipping exceptions but you may write to find out your rate if you think your address might be excluded. email@example.com
3.1 SHIPPING IS FREE!
(Returns or exchanges of any kind are subject to shipping fees that are the responsibility of the customer.)
For wholesale orders outside our free shipping area, we are happy to ship for free to an East or West Coast contiguous US located freight forwarder for you. You would then assume ownership and shipping responsibility to your destination. For example we have many clients in Canada, Australia, and the Caribbean.
4.0 Damaged Merchandise (You must notify us of damages within 3 days of shipment delivery. No exceptions.)
4.1 Don't worry, you're covered! It's unfortunate and thankfully rare, but due to the weight and size of bike packaging a bicycle may receive some damage in shipment. If your bike was purchased from Cheap Beach Bikes.com it is automatically insured. You must notify us within 3 days from the date the shipment was delivered. Need to file a claim? Fill out the RMA Claim section of the Customer Service Request form. You are responsible for opening and inspecting your package within the time limit, this is especially important to remember when buying gifts or equipment in advance.
4.2 We know it's disappointing to have something arrive banged up or broken and will do our best to get it corrected for you quickly. Damaged merchandise claims must be filed with the carrier that shipped the product(s), but again don't worry, in most cases our Customer Service Department will handle all of these claims for you without a hassle.
4.3 Once an order leaves our warehouse, it is the sole responsibility of the carrier to deliver the product to the destination, undamaged. Insurance coverage entitles the customer to receive a replacement of up to 100% merchandise replacement - up to the amount of the insurance. If we can assist you further in this matter please don’t hesitate to contact our office.
5.0 Return / Exchange Policy (You must notify us of desire to return/exchange within 3 days of shipment delivery for retail purchases. For quantity and wholesale purchases there are no cancellations, returns, exchanges, or credits permitted. No exceptions.)
5.1 If you order something, and later realize you really wanted something else, we can help. Unopened bikes may be exchanged for any reason for an item equal to or greater than in cost, with the exception of quantity purchases, for which there are no returns or exchanges permitted. Please remember though, you will be charged for shipping the item back to us, then credited for the item only once it arrives and has been inspected.
5.2 Bikes are heavy, inventory is kept in tightly controlled quantities, and shipping is expensive so a few guidelines apply. A restocking charge no less than twenty (20%) percent, shipping of the return item and the new item, and any cost difference in the products is the responsibility of the customer. Your original purchase must be received in unopened, undamaged condition back at our warehouse before new merchandise can be sent.
5.3 Of course if there is a mistake in our warehouse or order processing department, and you received the wrong item, no additional charges apply. We will rectify the mistake at our expense. We must be notified of errors of this nature within 3 days of the receipt of the product. Please notify us of any mistake in your order or return issues via email (this is for tracking purposes) and we will attend to your request promptly. You are responsible for opening and inspecting your package within the time limit, this is especially important to remember when buying gifts or equipment in advance.
6.0 NO Cancellation Policy (Your submission of your order is your agreement to purchase.)
6.1 Your opportunity to cancel your order occurs during checkout when you give final approval for your purchase and allow your credit card to be charged. We are an instant processor and order fulfillment happens immediately. Bikes and color choices are held in the order received. Due to limited inventory, high demand, and fast turnaround time, orders are fulfilled as specified on your invoice.
7.0 Manufacturers Warranty and Manufacturer's Defects (You must notify us of manufacturer’s warranty and defect issues within 7 days of shipment delivery to allow service within the allowable 30 day warranty period. No exceptions.)
7.1 All bicycles carry a thirty (30) day warranty on the frame and all joint components.
7.2 Although extremely rare, we do come across an occasional manufacturer's defect. If you suspect a product or part has a manufacturer's defect, please notify us by submitting the an RMA Claim within the allowed time frame of 3 days of receipt of your bike. You are responsible for opening and inspecting your package within the time limit, this is especially important to remember when buying gifts or equipment in advance.
We will respond to your claim within three (3) business days to inform you as to what action will take place in order to rectify the situation. The manufacturer will replace any part(s) that is found to be defective or that fails within the period of the warranty.
7.3 Unless otherwise stated in writing, the warranty on each bicycle sold by Cheap Beach Bikes.com is limited to defective part(s) replacement with equal or greater value type product at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.
7.4 Non-Warranty Items
a. Gear, brake, spoke, or any other adjustments.
b. Normal wear and tear to bike, tires or component from use or exposure to elements.
c. Any alteration made or aftermarket part installed on bike by customer.
d. Damage from a bike accident.
e. Damage due to original shipping or transport.
f. Minor scratches are not deemed damage and not covered by the warranty.
7.5 CheapBeachBikes.com reserves the right to substitute similar parts on bicycles as per manufacturer specifications as seen fit.
7.6 No unauthorized returns will be accepted without the proper RMA (Returned Material Authorization) number associated with the returned merchandise. We must first approve the return, thus issuing an RMA number.To file a return or replacement, you must fill out the RMA Claim Request. Your claim form must be followed by photos of the damage attached to an email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost of any returned part(s) and/or merchandise. CheapBeachBikes.com is not responsible for damaged merchandise due to shipping carriers or defective part(s).Furthermore, CheapBeachBikes.com is hereby indemnified against any such claim(s) herein listed above.
8.0 Privacy Statement
8.1For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server does not automatically recognize any information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations. We post testimonials from customers, and links to our client logos on a regular basis. Feel free to contact us if you wish to be removed from either of these areas.
8.2 The information we collect is used for internal review, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumer and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending an e-mail, calling or writing, and telling us that you do not want to receive e-mail from our company.
9.1 You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.
10.0 Information and Email Privacy
10.1 Email addresses are kept in strict confidence and are not sold, traded or loaned to any other organization(s) for any reason. This information is for the sole purpose of notifying the members of our Preferred Customer program of special discount offers, exclusive sales and coupons for our products only.
10.2 Cheap Beach Bikes strives to deliver quality beach bicycles and beach cruisers at affordable prices. Via our preferred carriers UPS and FedEx, we are able to deliver our cruisers nationwide with reliable service, directly to your home or business.
11.0 Price Match Guarantee - Must be approved by company via email PRIOR TO PURCHASE OF PRODUCT(S). No exceptions.
11.1CheapBeachBikes.com (company) may voluntarily match any competitors price based on the following; a. same brand and model item, b. match on price of item only not including shipping and handling, c. within the continental United States only, d. new item.
11.2 The company also reserves the right to decline any price match for any reason.
11.3 Our price match guarantee program may be canceled or altered at anytime without notice.
11.4 The company will not match anything other than price; (i.e. no warranty matching, freight, shipping, handling, etc.). Once we have approved a different price than that advertised on our web site via a confirmation email, the price match appears as a credit. This is accomplished by your purchase of the item at the listed price then the receipt of a credit back on your card that reflects your adjustment in price.
